Thank you for this wonderful game that I love so much that I am willing to deal with this awful character instead of just clearing it off of my hard drive like I would have done with a lesser game. There are all kinds of fun possibilities like getting a band together for a big show or getting DJs to play your music etc. I would have rather had a playable musician as a character. Also on the park levels it is extremely annoying that the musician follows me at the perfect pace to constantly get blown up by timed landmines.
That may be a bug that needs to be looked at. I suspect it might have had something to do with them becoming a follower. Somehow, one of my targets for a quest disappeared and now the quest shows no target. I am slowly working my way through but had to exit the game on one of the downtown levels when a bug made it impossible to continue. I hate myself for being a completionist and therefore feeling like I have to complete the game with this character at least once. Now as the bouncer I am stuck with am AI character that has all the annoying features of the other followers plus it is made even more annoying with requests and the fact that you are supposed to keep it alive. Even when playing as squad based characters such as the gang member I tend to just go it alone because the AI just screws up everything more than they help. The character takes all the limitations of the game AI plus some other buggy issues and makes them into a feature. I have no regrets but I absolutely hate playing as the bouncer. I love Streets of Rogue and I gladly bought the DLC.
